Company Receives Award for Anti-Terrorism Efforts

On May 1, DHS Technologies received a service award for the company’s “unwavering commitment and support to the law enforcement community through invention and innovation” at a recent event held in New York City.

Jon Prusmack receives award plaquard for the company's anti-terrorism efforts during a recent event in NYC.The award was presented by the Federal Enforcement Homeland Security Foundation (FEHSF), an organization that supports those who provide front line defense against terrorism and who dedicate themselves to the protection and preservation of the American way of life by upholding the laws of the United States.

“For years DHS Technologies’ products has been involved in thwarting anti-terrorist efforts with local police, border patrol, military and other government agencies,” says A. Jon Prusmack, DHS Technologies CEO. “We appreciate it that this fact was recognized.”

DHS Technologies provides rapidly-deployable command and medical shelters and trailers; decontamination systems; and emergency medical equipment to both the defense and homeland security markets via its two subsidiary companies DHS Systems (DRASH) and Reeves EMS.

The companies’ products are currently being used by the FBI Hostage Rescue Team, Crisis Response Unit and Evidence Recovery Teams, the Department of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, the National Disaster Medical system, and many Federal and State government offices in the United States.  It is also in use by all branches of the U.S. Military and by the armed forces of Australia, Austria, Germany, Israel, Japan, Norway, Singapore, Spain, Turkey and the United Kingdom.
