ORANGEBURG, NY – The Rockland Business Association (RBA) has selected DHS Systems LLC, who manufactures, sells and services the Deployable Rapid Assembly Shelter, or DRASH and is a quality provider of the Reeves EMS brand, as the recipient of the Chairman’s Award for Overall Business Excellence for the 2011 Pinnacle Awards. The award presented to the company was accepted by A. Jon Prusmack at the ninth Annual Pinnacle Awards Dinner held on May 4th.

As the word "pinnacle" suggests, this award represents the highest honor that the Association bestows. The Award recognizes the premier associations and businesses leading the way in the Rockland County business community.

"In my mind, the company that stood out above all the others was DHS," said Jan Degenshein, Chairman of the RBA. "Under the direction of A. Jon and Patti, DHS excels in all categories: hard work, creativity, ethics and social responsibility. It was my pleasure nominating them for this award."

Companies are evaluated on the basis of their contributions to the business climate and their overall community involvement to determine who will be the recipient of the covented Chairman’s Award. As part of the awards presentation, the RBA showed a video presentation that focused on the award winner’s accomplishments.
