DRASH Shelters Displayed at 131st NGAUS General Conference and Exhibition

Reeves Decontamination Systems utilize the DRASH Shelter. NASHVILLE, TN – Military shelter manufacturer DHS Systems LLC displayed a mobile tactical operations center (TOC), aid station, briefing area and decontamination system at the 131st NGAUS General Conference and Exhibition at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel & Convention Center on September 11-13.

The mobile facilities are based on the Deployable Rapid Assembly Shelter (DRASH) design that has been trusted for more than 20 years. Part of the U.S. Army’s Standard Integrated Command Post System (SICPS), DRASH is a mobile, quick erect/strike shelter system that integrates shelter, mobility, environmental control and power in one complete package. DRASH Shelters, which are available in 45 models, including the SICPS TMSS Medium and TMSS Large, range in size from 109-1,250 square feet and can interconnect to increase or decrease a structure’s overall footprint.

During the conference, the DRASH TOC and briefing area were also outfitted with DRASH Deployable Command and Control Equipment (DC2E) to form fully equipped command centers. DRASH DC2E joins various feeds of information onto single or multiple screens, allowing users to view images from across the incident scene or battlefield. Since its introduction in 2005, more than 2,500 DRASH DC2E systems have been deployed throughout the world.

Used extensively by all branches of the U.S. Military and NATO forces stationed around the world, DRASH Shelter Systems have also been used by National Guard units and civilian agencies across the country.

DRASH was on display at Booth 2653 at NGAUS.
