Reeves EMS Unveils Line of Pandemic Response Products at EMS Expo 2009

A Reeves Medical Surge Facility.ATLANTA, GA – Emergency medical products and services provider DHS Systems LLC displayed a decontamination system, stretchers and gear bags at EMS Expo 2009 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta on October 28-30.

The products are part of the company’s Reeves EMS brand that has been an integral part of emergency response equipment in organizations within the United States and around the world, including the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force and Army Reserve; state, county and local government entities; and corporate entities, for more than 100 years.

As part of its response line, the company offers a full line of pandemic response shelters, including mobile casualty collection points, triage centers, initial screening areas and drive-thru vaccination clinics.

Reeves EMS products have been purchased by medical organizations around the country in response to the current H1N1 outbreak. Most recently, staff at the Dell Children’s Medical Center in Austin, Texas set up DRASH Shelters outside of the hospital’s emergency room to serve as triage and treatment centers during this year’s flu season.
