Soft-walled shelter system and emergency medical products and services provider DHS Systems LLC displayed several of its pandemic response products at the World Response Conference on Global Outbreak 2009 at the Monte Carlo Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada on November 12-13, 2009.

At the conference, DHS Business Development representative Ken Hall discussed how the company’s products, including a full line of pandemic response shelters, have been used during the current H1N1 outbreak.

DHS Systems has garnered attention from both health officials and media in recent months as its shelters, from mobile casualty collection points to medical surge facilities to drive-thru vaccination clinics, have been purchased by medical organizations across the country. In September, staff at the Dell Children’s Medical Center in Austin, Texas set up shelters outside of the hospital’s emergency room to serve as triage and treatment centers during this year’s flu season. Most recently, on November 4th, the Madison County Health Department in Indiana set up shelters as a drive-thru H1N1 vaccination clinic to administer nearly 2,000 vaccinations to local residents.

The company’s pandemic response products are part of its Reeves EMS brand that has been an integral part of emergency response equipment in organizations within the United States and around the world, including the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force and Army Reserve; state, county and local government entities; and corporate entities, for more than 100 years.
