DRASH Command Post and DC2E to be displayed at EANGUS

CHARLESTON, WV – Military shelter manufacturer DHS Systems LLC will be displaying a DRASH Command Post and DRASH Deployable Command and Control Equipment (DC2E) at the Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States (EANGUS) 40th Annual Conference to be held at the Charlestown Civic Center on August 14-17th.

Part of the U.S. Army’s Standard Integrated Command Post System (SICPS), DRASH shelters deploy in minutes to provide soldiers with shelter, mobility, power, heating and cooling in one complete package. The shelters, which are available in 64 models and can interconnect to enhance a structure’s overall footprint, can be configured for various applications – from command and control centers to hospital surge areas to UAV hangers to decontamination facilities – needed by the National Guard for its dual mission of supporting both homeland defense and operations abroad.

At the conference, the DRASH Command Post will be outfitted with DC2E, a system that joins various feeds of information to allow commanders to view images from across the incident scene or battlefield.

Used extensively by all branches of the U.S. Military and numerous National Guard units throughout the United States, more than 17,000 DRASH shelters are in use today. As part of the 2011 fielding schedule, 51 Army National Guard units in over 30 states will be fielded with the company’s Trailer Mounted Support System (TMSS).

DRASH will be on display at Booth 319 during EANGUS.
